  4. Parcel

    It turns out that the birthday parcels my mum sent me was at the depot, thank you Post Office for not carding it, I went on a hunch and there they were. 

    For the first time, no sweets or chocolate but a couple of technical tee’s, an awesome pair of running socks, a couple of jackets and bottoms and a lovely cardigan. So she got the tee’s a size smaller than I asked but they fit, and she had to get different bottoms to what I had pinpointed on the website, but go mum because you stuck to the no pink or blue rule (hence everything is black). 

    And feeling better today, had a proper walk with the dog, he chased the birds on the softball pitch, I practised my wellies sprint and if I needed more motivation to go running Weimaraner guy was out running with his pooch.

  6. Depression raising its ugly head again, so not much posting going on. Heck even getting out of the house has been a struggle for the past week. Good thing I have the Vez, otherwise I wouldn’t get out at all. That and bad eating are probably not helping the mood. One the plus side, I actually talked to my parents today and told them I wasn’t doing too good. Feeling relieved to have let it out, and actually feeling better for it, and got some strength from it. 

    Tomorrow will be better.

    The pooch doesn’t understand why so much shouting in the lounge as he is so well behaved. 

    I might lose my voice in the next 30 minutes

  8. You know when you promised people you would give them a hand, then the day comes and you’re feeling like you’d rather stay home, that’s me today.

    Better get dressed, walk the dog and proceed anyway there’a floor that needs laying.
